Methane emissions in livestock and rice systems – Sources, quantification, mitigation and metrics

While a large portion of the Asian population depends on agriculture for their livelihoods and food security, the agriculture sector is one of the main sources of greenhouse gas emissions in the region.

This paper analyzes the uptake of electric vehicles in Asia and the Pacific and shows how the electrification of transport systems can speed up the transition to a low-carbon future.
